Why Do People Live here?

The Midtown Miami real estate & Biscayne Corridor real estate neighborhoods are two fairly new neighborhoods in terms of new development for the neighborhoods and the buildings.  Many of the high-rise condominium buildings were built over the last several years. People live in Midtown Miami and Biscayne Corridor because the location is a central area to the rest of the Miami, the pricing tends to be more affordable than other areas of the city and the buildings tend to be newer.

Midtown Miami is considered the hip area of the city with lots of smaller local restaurants, shops, hair salons and art galleries.  Midtown Miami still has a lot of growth in it, and going forward there will be more development for that neighborhood.

I label Biscayne Corridor as all of the buildings along the Biscayne Bay side from MacArthur Causeway to Julia Tuttle.  Biscayne Corridor is home to Pace Park, a really nice park located on Biscayne Bay. Many of the buildings surround this park making it a central hub for this neighborhood.

Both areas still have a lot of growth in them, and I am sure in the next ten years or so both neighborhoods will be transformed even more than they are today.

What’s the Neighborhood Like?

Midtown Miami is a super cute, cool and trendy neighborhood.  Initially, it felt pretty raw because it was so new, and many of the units were designed with a loft style feel.  Today, Midtown Miami is very trendy, cool and hip.  It is home to many local shops, restaurants, art stores, salons, and boutiques.  It still has some time to go in terms of development, but overall the few blocks currently occupied by residents and commercial tenants are pretty cool.  Biscayne Corridor is located on the Biscayne Bay side of Miami and features many new high rises with incredible views of the city, the bay and Miami Beach.

What’s most important to understand is that both of these neighborhoods still have a lot of room in them for new growth, Midtown more than Biscayne Corridor.  There are many plans for these areas in terms of future growth and development.
