Many of our clients like the Bentley Bay because it’s a high rise luxury condo in Miami Beach located in the South Beach neighborhood with a smaller boutique feel. Also because it is just on the other side of South of Fifth it’s not in the South of Fifth neighborhood, therefore the prices are a little less than similar style buildings located directly in South of Fifth. For instance if you like Icon South Beach or Murano Grande South Beach but the price is a little over your budget, Bentley Bay condominium may be a good option to consider.
On a side note, a lot of people confuse Bentley Beach and Bentley Bay, they are in fact three separate buildings and Bentley Beach is located on the beach directly across from Prime 112. Bentley Bay South Beach consists of two luxury towers South and North located on the Biscayne Bay at the addresses of 520 West Avenue and 540 West Avenue.
The Bentley Bay location is great, right on the end of West Avenue. If you drive across MacArthur Causeway towards South Beach, Bentley Bay is on your left side, beside the Floridian. This is part of the residential neighborhood of Miami Beach that is pedestrian friendly as one can literally walk to shops, the beach and restaurants.
One of the most interesting aspects of Bentley Bay is how the layouts of the units were designed. If you look up at Bentley Bay you may notice that there are no windows on the east side of the building. This is because all of the units face west and the views are of the Biscayne Bay and the Miami city skyline. A lot of people when they first move to Miami think the ocean view is the most sought after view but this depends on the location and style of the building. On West Avenue the most sought after view is the Biscayne Bay and Miami city skyline, not the ocean view.
Second side note, in many buildings that are located on the bay, there can be two completely different markets and price points within the building just because of the view. This is why it is super important to be sure you are working with those who know these details.
