Sometimes I feel like it’s so hard to save money living in this city.  No matter where I go I have to either pay to park, tip the valet or pay the ticket when I stay too long and forget to pay the meter.  So annoying.  

In these frugal times I am always looking for ways to save money. 

Yesterday, I found a killer deal for car washing,  just north of Miami Shores on Biscayne Boulevard at the Busy Bee Car Wash.  Drive towards the back and you will find at least ten (or more) “always on & powerful” vacuums….free with a car wash of at least $5.00.  Plus a few machines that you can put your mats into and clean…also free with a car wash of at least $5.00. 

After I brilliantly cleaned the inside of my card without worrying about diving for extra quarters, I drove up to the car wash area where a nice lady explained what I would get for $5, $8 or $10 (probably there are more options but $10 was my budget so I didn’t look past that amount).  I slid the credit car in, drove up and put the car in neutral and sat through a very nice wash and dry. 

What a fabulous idea.  Cheap, quick and efficient.   Normally I spend about $35 to $40 (with tip) on South Beach & although I do LOVE my SOBE car wash people, I am on a budget and this was a great experience and worth the short drive over the bridge.
