It’s dreary outside today. Cloudy, rainy, just not Miami.
Miamians don’t do well in any weather that is not full of sunshine. The heat we can take, humidity no worries…… but throw in rain and clouds and we are all “Debbie Downers”.
I added a new plugin to my blog today to pull approved photos that are ok to share from Flickr. I typed in Miami Beach and this picture was a picture from the first group that randomly pulled in. From the titles of the pictures, it seems like this family adopted this young Haitian girl. It pulled at my heart and who knows what they or she went through before these photos were taken. I can only imagine.
It reminded me that we all need to be grateful for where we come from… rain or shine.
