1.  Get your workout on at Normandy Gym.  No fuss, no attitude, just one hour of heart pumping music and sweating your butt off.  I love this place!

2.  Michy’s  (ok it’s a little above the Midtown Area but totally worth it) located at 6927 Biscayne Boulevard Miami, FL 33138.   A very hip restaurant with our own famous Miami Chef,  Michelle Bernstein.  You have probably seen her a million times on the Food Network or as a judge on Top Chef.

3.  The Room in Miami Beach  Super tiny bar, locals hangout.   Great beer selection, really good music, located right behind Nemos on South Beach.

4.  Garcia Seafood Grille & Fish  Located at 398 NW North River Dr, Miami, Florida.  Craving fresh seafood?  This is THE place to go.  Have lunch on their outside patio that faces the Miami River or watch Sunday football and eat tons of raw oysters with a bucket of ice cold beer at the upstairs bar.  This is my new craving.

5.  Le Bon restaurant in Miami Beach on Lincoln Road Belgium American cuisine, really great beer selection, fabulous Mussel Pots with many different varieties of cooking styles of mussels and more.  My husband craves their Kumamoto oysters.

Now I am starting to see why I need to workout so much.  So far most of my selections have been restaurants and beer drinking bars!!

6.  Venetian Island Causeway.  Take a walk on Veneitan Island Causeway.  Now we have a couple of dog parks on the causeway on Belle Island and a super nice playground for the kiddies.

7.  The Shops at Midtown Miami  Not that it’s all that glamorous but it sure is nice having a Target a hop, skip and a jump away.  Remember having to drive all the way to Aventura or Kendall or West?  Thank goodness for the Midtown Shops.

8.  Adrienne Arsht Center  Located at 1300 Biscayne Boulevard between Midtown Miami and Downtown Miami.  For the arts.

9.  Miami Design District  Check out this area the 2nd Saturday of every month when they feature Art + Design Night.

10.  Lincoln Road in South Beach  Walking, people watching, dining, sipping espresso and more.  My hands down favorite place of places.
