Venetian Island Homes and the Lizards Along the Causeway

The Venetian Islands of Miami Beach are an artificial chain of islands located in the prime area of Miami Beach Real Estate. The islands are San Marco Island, San Marino Island, Di Lido Island, Rivo Alto Island, Belle Isle and Biscayne Island. Nightly you can find runners, bikers and families walking and running the Venetian Island road that connects the individual islands.

You never know what you might see along the way so I always take the camera.  When it gets warmer outside there are always reptiles hanging out sunning themselves.  Although they may look intimidating, they usually scatter off as soon as they see the humankind.

Plus, who are we to say anything.  It was their home first, right?
