Prior to Miami City Diggs, I used to have a blog years ago
properly named,  The New Miamian.  I learned about the power of blogging through writing on this blog and I hope to do the same here at Miami City Diggs.  Information is power.

I am the main writer on the blog and my husband, Ognjen Prezzi, fills in for me some times.

We have founded our Real Estate work ethic based on good old fashion customer service with an aggressive modern marketing edge.  We are information junkies and have found that this quality has served our clients well in their Real Estate endeavors.  We use “Miami City Diggs” as a way to share what we have learned in the business and also prove to our clients and future clients that we are committed to the development of our own education and business.

Miami and Miami Beach is a large area with thousands of homes and hundreds of condo buildings.  We have found that “You can’t be everything to everyone”.  This blog “Miami City Diggs” is primarily focused on the areas of South Beach, Brickell and Midtown Miami (from Downtown Miami >Biscayne Corridor> to the actual Midtown Area).  We mainly focus on these areas because they are where we do the majority of my business and also where we live and socialize.   Although it may at first seem like a very small part of Miami, in terms of Real Estate they are three very different market areas, with very different market trends, characteristics and lifestyles.  It’s all very exciting to see where they are heading.  We work with Renters, Buyers and Sellers in these areas.

When you get down to the basic best practices, the best agents are almost always doing the same fundamental things. The details may be different, but the underling basics are the same. WE DON’T JUST HAVE A WEBSITE, WE HAVE INTERNET MARKET SAVVY AND WHY YOU SHOULD CARE? Today nearly 86% of buyers start their search for a home through the Internet and Sellers also seek out quality information online.  Times have changed and it’s important for Real Estate Agents to realize this.  Nowadays you need more than just a glossy post card to sell a property.  It’s all about exposure and it’s important to know the tools to best position a property to sell.  If 86% of buyers start their search online, doesn’t it make sense to use Realtors that understans the Internet and how to market a property online?

We work with Keller Williams Miami Beach Realty on Miami Beach and we are rated in the top five of producing offices in the area.   Yes, those are the most recent statistics, not last year’s.  Keller Williams focuses on training their agents as well as working your business ethically.  This is important because rules, laws and regulations change all of the time.  Often we know the changes before many of our other colleagues in the industry.  Being  “by the book” kinda people, this is very important to us and also to our clients.

Background:
I am from the Carolinas and my husband, Ognjen Prezzi is from Croatia.  We moved here from the Carolinas in 2004 after deciding that we had outgrown the small town lifestyle. We craved to live in a faster paced environment. We fell in love with Miami because it reminded us of a European city much like my husband’s hometown, Split, a coastal city off the Adriatic.  Just like Split, Miami is famous for its beautiful beaches, shopping, restaurants, culture, life and nightclubs. Miami is an amazing city with an amazing energy.  In terms of opportunity, lifestyle and work; Miami has offered us more than we could have ever imagined.

We feel very fortunate to call Miami home.
